Luke Nolen is back as I Wish I Win’s (NZ) (Savabeel) rider in Saturday’s Gr.1 Kingsford-Smith Cup (1300m) at Eagle Farm.

Nolen has missed riding the Group One star at both runs this campaign, but has re-claimed the ride from James McDonald, who is unavailable due to his commitments around Hong Kong star Romantic Warrior in Japan on Sunday.

Nolen has ridden I Wish I Win in eight of his 11 Australian starts but lost the ride first-up this campaign in the Gr.1 T J Smith Stakes (1200m) following injuries incurred from a trackwork fall.

McDonald retained the ride when I Wish I Win was nosed out in the last stride by Bella Nipotina in the Gr.1 Doomben 10,000 (1200m) earlier this month.

Sportsbet has I Wish I Win marked the $3.60 favourite ahead of Victorian mare Magic Time at $6.

Moody holds the key to both Group One races in Brisbane on Saturday as aside from I Wish I Win’s attempt on the Kingsford-Smith Stakes, he will saddle the filly Autumn Angel in the Queensland Derby.
