After another strong week of results, the book full sign has gone up for the Little Avondale’s shuttle stallion Time Test.
Studmaster Sam Williams is understandably bullish about what the future holds for the dual Group Two winner and Ascot track record holder, especially given one particular trait that’s apparent with his first NH runners.
“You always want to see a young sire throw stakes horses in his first crop and to have a stakes winner, a Group Two second place getter and a Group Three third is probably even beyond my expectations for this stage of his career,” he said. “But I’m also really excited by how many of his stock improve as they go through their preparation.
“His stakes winning filly Tardis and last week’s Group Two runner-up Sunset Shiraz were well into their campaigns before they were tested at stakes company, and look at the results. Trainers really like that trait.”
Time Test, who also served a full book of 135 mares in 2020, joins fellow barn mate Per Incanto with the book full sign in the window for 2021.
