Entries for New Zealand Bloodstock’s South Island Sale are now open, with the Sale set to be held on NZB’s online subsidiary Gavelhouse Plus for the second year in a row.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, NZB made the decision to develop a premium online auction platform, with last year’s South Island Sale undertaken on Gavelhouse Plus.
Quality Southern-breds continue to showcase their versatility and durability on the international stage, with southern raiders Etah James and The Chosen One celebrating a quinella in the 2020 Gr.1 Sydney Cup (3200m).
All South Island Sale stock will be inspected by NZB agents, with New Zealand-based agents also available to inspect on behalf of prospective buyers who cannot physically attended the Sale.
The catalogue is set to go live on Gavelhouse Plus on Monday 29 March, with bidding available from Monday 12 April and the first lot closing incrementally from 7PM (NZT) on Wednesday 14 April.
The South Island Sale will operate under usual NZB terms and conditions, allowing selling to registered bidders only and paying the vendor out as it would a traditional auction.
Entries for the South Island Sale are open from today (February 11) and will close on 17 March 2021 at 5PM.
