Group One sprinter Tivaci joined Waikato Stud’s outstanding stallion roster in 2017 where he stands for a fee of $20,000+gst, and his first yearlings will be offered at Karaka in January.

He is a son of High Chaparral and out of the Fastnet Rock mare Breccia, who is a half-sister to the Gr.1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) winner Allez Wonder and the Gr.3 Chairman’s Handicap (2600m) winner Pretty Pins.

Trained by Michael Moroney, Tivaci was bought by Moroney’s brother Paul for A$250,000 as a yearling. He went on to win the Gr.1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) before his retirement, as well as the Gr.3 CS Hayes Stakes (1400m), Gr.3 Sunshine Coast Guineas (1600m) and Listed Kensington Stakes (1000m).
