For the second year running COVID-19 restrictions have interrupted plans for the Ebbett VW National Breeding Awards.
The National Breeding Award winners will now be announced at the rescheduled event. Over 350 tickets had been sold for the event but with uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 Alert Levels the decision has been made to reschedule to November the 27th.
The new date takes into account the limited time industry people have over the breeding season and will hopefully allow for the country to return to an Alert Level 1.
All purchased tickets can be transferred to the November event, with refunds available on request. Anyone wishing for a refund can contact the Waikato Branch of the NZTBA –nztbawaikatob@gmail.com.
The Waikato branch of the NZTBA will still be holding their auction, an important fundraiser for their branch on the Gavelhouse platform over the weekend of the 27th November.
Unfortunately, the gavelhouse.com Waikato Stallion Parade Weekend has been cancelled, however, farms have video footage available for breeders to view on request and on their websites, and inspections will be able to be made by appointment when in Alert Level 2.
