Talented three-year-old filly Dream Queen (NZ) (Super Easy) has been withdrawn from the Ruakaka card on Saturday after being sold to Australian interests and will continue her career with Ben and JD Hayes at Lindsay Park.
Prepared by Ken Rae and Krystal Williams-Tuhoro, Dream Queen won two of her four starts and finished runner-up on the other two occasions.
A last start winner defeating stablemate Follow Your Dreams (NZ) (Contributer), Dream Queen had previously finished runner-up to Tsunami Sam (NZ) (Shamexpress), who is also heading to the Lindsay Park team after his recent sale.
The filly had been a warm favourite to continue her rich vein of form in a three-year-old 1100m race tomorrow and was considered a strong prospect for the Gr.3 Cambridge Stud Northland Breeders’ Stakes (1200m) at Ruakaka in a fortnight.
Dream Queen had been purchased by Rae on behalf of Northland owner Sue Martin off gavelhouse.com as a weanling from Hallmark Stud for just $1500.
