New Zealand breeders will have one final chance to send their mare to Group One winner Wyndspelle in New Zealand this season before he makes the move across the Tasman.

The son of Iffraaj has called Grangewilliam Stud, near Wanganui, home for the last couple of seasons but will transfer to stand at Cornwall Stud in Victoria next year.

Trained by Johno Benner and Hollie Wynyard, Wyndspelle was six-time Group One placed before he broke through for his elite-level victory in the Gr.1 Captain Cook Stakes (1600m), and subsequently brought down the curtain on his career with a runner-up result in the Gr.1 Thorndon Mile (1600m) in his next start.

He has served 88 mares in his two seasons at stud and his connections are hoping breeders get in behind their stallion in his final season in New Zealand.

Wyndspelle is standing at Grangewilliam Stud where he has a service fee of $5,000+GST.
